My name is Zsuzsanna Garaj, I'm a counseling psychologist with a specialisation in the field of crisis intervention.

I graduated as a physiotherapist at Semmelweis University. At the University of Szeged I've got my MA degree in clinical and health psychology and at Eötvös Loránd University I studied counseling psychology with a special focus on crisis intervention.

At the beginning of my career as a physiotherapist, I gained insight into the world of various physical diseases, but my professional interest soon turned to the psychological background of them. The acquisition of autogenic training and the therapeutic methodology based on imaginative, internal images also stemmed from this interest.

Later, during my postgrad training, I deepened my knowledge in dealing with crises affecting various areas of life. I believe that our crises, losses and traumas also carry the possibility of growth. Whether it is a stressful impasse, a paralysing loss, or questions about self-knowledge, I help my clients reach the key to their own solution with an open and accepting attitude.

The world of organisations are not far from me either as I gained comprehensive experience in the field of recruitment and HR consulting. As a leader I experienced how important it is to build a psychologically aware, emotionally intelligent team and organisation around me. My goal is to bring the worlds of workplaces and psychology closer together, since the most important resources of organisations are the people working in them.

Mastering coaching also provided useful aspects as a psychologist in working with organisations, and this methodology is also well suited to many life management topics of individuals.
